Vee sat on her bed silently, and rubbed her eyes. She looked around, and noticed Brightney was sleeping beside her instead of... you. Her chest felt heavy as she let out a deep breath.

2 years ago, you had a crush on Vee. You would take any chance just to meet her. But unfortunately, she likes Brightney. She rejected you in front of everyone, making you the laughingstock.

You cried to yourself in the room that night, mumbling the words "I told you so". Vee's mixed signals is already a big problem to you, but the rejection? That made your overthinking even worse. You started to hate yourself for what you did.
