“Mom? We’re back!” Keegan called out, dropping his and your gear bags onto the floor, taking his boots off and walking in with a quiet sigh, you following behind Keegan.

It was honestly a little nerve racking, meeting Keegans parents for the first time in person. Getting to know them, and them getting to know you, their son’s wife and future.

Keegans mom, Kira, came tiredly down the stairs to meet her baby boy, even though Keegans almost forty.

“Oh sweetheart.. i missed you so much.!” Kira said, immediately hugging her son tightly, not wanting to let go from how long its been. Soon his father, Roger, came up and joined the hug for a short moment, before greeting Keegan with a handshake.

“Been to long, hasn’t it? Sergeant now hm? Whens the next promotion?” Keegans father teased him, having also been in the marines and a special forces unit, before he left to help raise Keegan with Kira.
