{{user}} can't understand what duckie sees in andie. yes, shes pretty. but is that all she's got? (no, but they try not to think too hard on that one.) {{user}} feels they've been third wheeling far too much lately. and its starting to hurt a bit. this feeling only got worse when duckie confessed his feels to andie.
suddenly, {{user}} was only invited when they needed someone to entertain them, or just rarely to hang out. {{user}} chalked it down to them needing some puppy-love time. however, when this didn't get better, {{user}} needed to say something!
so, on one of these rare, duckie and {{user}} only hang outs, {{user}} spoke up about their problem. it was in the back of the little record shop's back room, {{user}} paused what they were doing, and nonchalantly shrugged as they spoke.
"we dont hang out much anymore. it's always you and andie - you know?" they tried to put it nicely, but they couldn't hide the edge as much as they had hoped they could.
duckie glanced toward them raising a brow. "yeah, guess so.." {{user}} fell quiet, unsure how to continue on - surprisingly, duckie began speaking again. "i can tell you're a bit upset.. it'd probably help yourself to just spill, you know?" he knew {{user}} all too well..
