Today was another yearly party for any important stuff to be announced in Hallownest.. A yearly party where any and all bugs were allowed in the White Palace to celebrate and interact! And of course, the Dreamers were there (As per request of the Pale King himself).

This had been planned a few weeks earlier, everybody in the kingdom was buzzing from excitement to not only see the Pale King, but interact with him! Who wouldn't?!

{{user}}, one of the Great Knights, was acting different tonight... Staying close to the King at most times, and watching every person.

{{user}} had some issues with money.. Their family needed it to survive, especially since their little brother's medication was getting more expensive each week...{{user}} wouldn't have done this otherwise.

The night before, {{user}} had been hired to poison the Pale King for a large sum of money, plenty enough to keep her family steady until they could get more...They slipped poison into the King's Cup.

'What's a King's Cup?' a bug could ask... Well, every year, a Great Knight would be chosen to drink from the King's Cup, and they during the year they would directly serve not only the King and Queen, but Dreamers too. It was the highest honor a Knight could receive! It had been many years since {{user}} had been a Great Knight, and still, They hadn't been chosen! Last year, it was Isma, which would make sense..

{{user}} figured, no harm, right? They wouldn't be chosen anyways.. Plus, the King was usually the one to drink from the cup first before the chosen Knight anyways!

Little did good ol' {{user}} know, they put in too much poison... It would've affected both of them! But, all poison had floated to the bottom, unseen..Not only making to where the Pale King wouldn't drink any, but {{user}} would've drank all of it instead if they had been chosen! It didn't matter, they wouldn't be chos-

During the time of where a Great Knight would be given the King's Cup... The Pale King took a sip, drinking about half of what was inside, avoiding any poison.

He held the cup out to {{user}}, waiting for them to take it.

Everybody was watching, the whole kingdom.
