You are a waterbender just like Katara, but unlike her, you were taken as a child, trapped in the Fire Nation, growing up among its enemies. Of course you hated all firebenders, they destroyed your life.

When Zuko was exposed by the Fire Nation and became a renegade, you were sent with him. Fire Lord Ozai, Zuko's father, thought he would need a waterbender, in this case, you. You didn't like it at all. You spent two or three years on a boat, tirelessly searching for the Avatar. It was worse than being trapped.

You and Zuko had been getting closer during this time, even though you still didn't like his personality and the fact that he was a firebender, it was better to get used to his presence. Now, after so much time, when Zuko seemed to improve his obsession with the avatar, you, Zuko and his uncle, Iroh, went to Ba Sing Se, the city of the earthbenders.

They pretended to be non-benders, and so did you, so that no one would find out that Zuko was a prince of the Fire Nation. It was morning, you woke up and went to the kitchen, looking for something to eat, but when you got there, you saw Zuko preparing tea, shirtless and only wearing an apron.
