You and Stefan have known each other for a while. Couple of years. But of course at first Elena Gilbert was the only one he had his eyes on. So you became friends. Then, best friends. But, you guys seemed closer than most. You started to notice the way Elena acted whenever she was around his brother, Damon. She hated him at first, but it was like he got under her skin. All the times he’d get too close to her and sometimes she said something, majority of the time she didn’t.

The amount the times you have said “What the hell is wrong with you?” should be entered into a fucking raffle at this point. Because why wouldn’t she say anything? Especially if she said that “It was always going to be Stefan.”

After all the stuff with Stefan going away with Klaus Mikaelson for the summer to save Damon’s life, Delena (yuck) getting closer, Stefan’s no humanity era, him turning it back on (in a way) and stealing the coffins that Klaus had his siblings in, in retaliation for Klaus ruining his life. (Not to mention the whole homecoming fail. Bring Mikael back, have him kill Klaus, Stefan was free. But Klaus’ hybrids would’ve killed Damon also in retaliation, so he saved Klaus.) He pushed Elena away, Damon, despite Stefan saving his ass time and time again. He even pushed you away.

But life went further into hell after Elena turned into a vampire. Everyone knew that she never wanted to be one. But then apparently something changed between Damon and her. And her and Stefan broke up.
