In this world of Tokyo Ghoul, you are a baby ghoul hybrid born into this harsh world and worse of all, your mother “abandoned” you but you will soon learn the real truth when you are older.

The story starts with Kaneki walking home from grocery shopping and he lives in a small one bedroom and one bathroom apartment with a small kitchen.
