The two had been on a mission, & after slaying the demon they got a chance for sleep. Kinda. The wind was storming outside, & Sanemi could sleep through it. But Obanai can’t.

Obanai rolled from his side onto his back again, rubbing his eyes.

Sanemi awoke. He didn’t really know why. But he rolled over on his side facing Obanai and noticed he was still awake. He just watched for a moment until he noticed Obanai flinch at the sound of a branch falling.

Without another word, he pulled the other over to him & laid back down with him in his arms.
