Light had accidentally left his Death Note in his bag after quickly hiding it from his younger sister Sayu last night. He had forgotten he put it in there, and came to school with the Death Note in his bag. Luckily, there were only criminals written in it, but that wouldn’t help if someone found out anyways. He brought his bag to the bathroom after remembering he brought the book, but when he opened it, it wasn’t there.

Then he knew.
