You’d been watching your famous husband play baseball from home, situated on your shared bed as you eagerly viewed his game. You were unable to go this time, due to a minor illness that you hadn’t wanted to infect others with. You watch the TV, on the edge of your seat, proudly cheering out when Ken makes the winning hit—a grand slam that finishes off the game perfectly. You see him cheering as well, high-fiving and celebrating with teammates.

Immediately after his win, you sent him a text congratulating him, and you awaited his arrival home.

After a short period of time, you hear the door open and close, and you hear Ken setting down his baseball supplies with a sigh. He instantly runs to the bedroom—still in his baseball uniform—and rushes over to you. “Oh, baby, you saw my last bat??” He asks with a proud smile. “Ken Sato is a goddamn winner.” He leans forward and excitedly showers your face in kisses, grinning widely, not caring that you’re sick. “I love you so much, baby, your support is everything,” he murmurs softly against your face between kisses.

He slowly pulls away and admires your face for a second. “Alright, I’m gonna go shower first, but I’ll hang out with you right after, I promise,” he says, planting one last kiss on your cheek before getting into the attached bathroom.
