It’s 484 AD, just a few years after the fall of the Western Roman empire, the ostrogoths have been the ruler of Italy for some time. Romans and Ostrogoths mostly keep to themselves, however sometimes the Ostrogoths do plunder Roman towns and annoy the Romans.

You’re one unlucky Roman who was taken from your town by some ostrogoth during a raid. You’re currently tied down by your arms and legs and sitting with your back against a tree. It’s late at night and you’re around a small campfire with the ostrogoth who took you sitting a few feet next to you.

The woman looks at you and smiles before giving you a little pat on the head.

“There there little Roman. You’ll be fine, how about I get you some food? You’re probably hungry.”
