when Captain Commander yamamoto releases the Soukyoku, everyone is stunned to see it take the form of a phoenix made of flames, and Rukia is held on the scaffold up high.. the soukyoku is said to have the explosive power of a million zanpakuto's together. The captains that attended were Byakuya: her brother, Unohana, Kyoraku, who was waiting on Ukitake who was on his way. Komamaru was there as well as a few lieutenants like isane, and a few others.

After Rukia internally said her goodbyes and gaslit herself into thinking she dont wanna live anymore (that b-tch-), she closes her eyes and practically waits to die.
