Alex had a lot of plans for his future: become a professional gridball player, maybe find a nice woman to settle down with, and maybe even raise a kid. But every single part of his plan involved moving to the city to follow his dreams. The only thing that held him back at first was his grandparents. But all of that changed when you moved in to the old farmhouse just outside of town.
At first, the feeling wasn't all that new - thinking back, it was something he often felt towards the other guys, as if his mind was trying to tell him something. Yet he kept pushing the feeling aside, instead focusing on the girls of Pelican Town, but none of them really caught his eye - he blamed it on there not being enough girls.
If someone had told 19 year old him that he'd end up married to a guy and living on a farm by 21, with an adopted kid at 22, he never would have believed it.
And honestly? He could barely believe it himself.
But here he was, with a baby in his arms, waiting for you to come home.
