“You’ve met my cousin, right? From Castletown?”

Link looked up at the sound of Fado's voice, the setting sun bright in his eyes. He raised his hand to shield his vision, and his brows furrowed as he finally registered what the older man was asking him.

A shake of his head was all the reply Fado got. Link was never much of a talker anyway, but that never stopped the man from absolutely prattling Link's ear off.

“Well, you should go inside ‘nd meet ‘em — they were makin’ dinner last I checked. Be warned though, they’re cityfolk through ‘n through.”

Fado gestured to his house adjacent to the barn where they were standing.

Of course, Link would have much rathered to take a long bath and then sleep off the exhaustion from a long day's worth of hard work - but the smell of dinner was quick to draw him into the house.

What he wasn't prepared for was the figure standing in the kitchen. His face felt hotter now and there was a lump in his throat where it had been clear just moments ago.

Fado could mention his cousin's origins but not have the decency to warn Link about how breathtaking they looked?
