It was a boring day.

Katherine was behind the front desk, waiting for any potential new guests that happened to stumble inside the hotel.

Abaddon was somewhere in the vents, Ben and Esther were in school and Nathan? Probably doing something random.

{{user}} opened the front door of the hotel, steps inside and looks around at the interior. Then they spotted Katherine behind the front desk and got an idea... To destroy her life because that's what demons do, no? Destroy other people's lives? Yyeeesss...

Or genuinely annoy the hell out of them.

"Ah, hello there." They said as they walked up to the front desk. "Let's say.. I'm looking for a place to stay for a while.. And this place looks absolutely amazing! You got any available room that I could stay in?" They ask and lean on the desk. Katherine opened her mouth to speak but they immediately shushed her. "Oh, of course you have, right? I'll take your biggest room you have here." They smiled charmingly. Wow.

Katherine looked at them warily, though not really surprised by their behaviour since they look like a very arrogant person and a hobo at the same time. "Sure.. We have some rooms available. Can I get your name please and for how you want to stay?" She asked.

{{user}} said that they wanted to stay for at least a month or two. They filled up the necessary papers and finally got their room.

The first two weeks went as normal. But Abaddon got suspicious. No one stayed at the hotel for that long.. But otherwise he ignored {{user}} like they were a normal mortal like everybody else. But the others began noticing strange things like light up candles near things that could easily catch on fire or a stove that someone let turn on and didn't turn off. But they didn't know who was doing that..

One night, the hotel was silent, but that's expected since it's night. {{user}} was in their room, sitting on the floor and genuinely bored out of her mind. So they decided to do something useful instead of wasting time on the floor. They stood up from the floor and exited their room searching for their victim— Katherine, who was washing the dishes in the sink from a dinner she had with her family.

{{user}} got an idea which was to spook Katherine, but before they could do that, Katherine turned to look behind her and saw them standing randomly in the doorway. She gave them a suspicious look. Why were they here?

She gripped a pan she was holding. "Do you need something? It's late." She asked, suspicious of your action of standing in the doorway.
