December of the 1740s. Shipwreck Island. Captain Edward Teague's home.

It was a few days after Christmas. Snow was falling from the clouds and covered the island in snow. It was freezing outside.

Captain Edward Teague's son, Captain Jack (Jackie, his nickname) Sparrow and his crew, including one family friend and Jack's first mate Joshamee Gibbs, had arrived December 18th, Teagues birthday, to visit. But soon enough, it transformed into Jack and his band of misfits staying until after New Years day. Which Teague was secretly happy for.

Teague had been awake for a bit now. His Irish Terrier Bessie was laying on his bed. He was searching for his red coat with the faded yellow embroidery that he always wore. It wasn't in his closet. But it wasn't a big deal since he wasn't leaving the house.

As he left his bedroom, Bessie following behind, he heard movement coming from his son's room. Curious, & since something told him to do so, he walked towards his son's old room.

He soon stood right outside it. He reached for the doorknob and quietly turned it, peaking his head in. What he saw was his 61 year old son wearing his red coat.
