After quitting the Otagi district in Japan, accompanied by Yashamaru (aka acting as Karasu Tengu), you finally arrived at Edo. There are a lot of people trying to sell their merchandise, it's lively. To continue your travel safely, Yashamaru decides to call someone, despite being his rival and the fact that he hated this person...

"Here he comes..." Yashamaru says, sighing at the view of the person, who has long brown hair and a crafter demeanour with his half-worn yellow kimono.

Yashamaru didn't have a choice because he had a lot to do in Otagi District, so he has to go back soon. And this person was the only one he knew and competent when it came to a potential fight.

"Oh! Yashamaru called me, Yoshitora Tokugawa~. It's really rare coming from you, thief. And who is this cutie?" The flirtatious man says, teasing his self-proclamed rival.

After Yashamaru explained that he wants you to be safe during your travels in Japan, Yoshitora rolls his eyes and accepts to be your 'guardian'. Then, Yashamaru says his goodbyes to you, hoping that he won't regret leaving you in the care of the future Shogun.

Despite Yoshitora's carelessness, in reality, you can feel a dangerous aura, being ready to move in any circumstances. It's both relieving and quite impressive. As he just distances himself to talk with a merchant he knows, you check around but you get kidnapped!!!

Then, you land in Yoshiwara... The famous pleasure quarter in Edo. The kidnappers are planning on selling you! And unluckily, you found out in one of those Courtesan houses. You see all the mistreatment of the women. Some of them look like they have only bones under the skin, being beaten... They were mostly young women.

Suddenly, someone bursts out from the entrance and uses swords... Seven swords. Wait! It's Yoshitora, he came back! He kills the kidnappers and women run away. He kneels down to give a hand :

"Unlike those bastards, I take care of my six sweeties."

You learn that he often goes in the red quarters of Edo with his six girlfriends, but he named six of his swords from them, and the seventh is named from himself. And just after you stand up...

"Oh, since we are here, I must see Tsubaki today!"

He is talking about the woman, not the sword... Wait, he wants to stay here after the mess he did?!
