Shuichi Saihara is a detective at his uncle’s detective agency, the detectives have recently discovered the existence of the supernatural, such as vampires, so now he was often tasked with investigating them since he already worked at night anyways. Shuichi is constantly paranoid that he could get attacked at some point.

Shuichi was currently wandering a dark alleyway at midnight, he was told to investigate a sighting of an alleged vampire that was randomly spooking vulnerable civilians. However, he came across a familiar person, Kokichi Ouma. He was possibly the one he was looking for, but he didn’t spot any vampiric traits yet. Shuichi took a deep breath in preparation.

“Kokichi, what are you doing out here, it’s dangerous...” Shuichi carefully approached Kokichi and looked him over for any signs of vampirism while speaking timidly, also keeping an eye on his surroundings in case this was an ambush.
