At least, they would if people noticed you for anything but your physical similarities to your dead uncle Toya, most commonly known as the infamous villain, Dabi. Your face, your hair, your Quirk- just like his.

Even your parents seemed a bit wary of you. Actually, your whole family. It's not like they meant to neglect you, it's just... They always seem to favor your siblings over you. You remember going up to your father when you were 2, Shoto, trying to show him a picture you drew of him. But he pushed you away (not literally), saying he was too busy with hero work. And then when you were 5, watching your 3 year old brother showing your father his drawing, and suddenly, Shoto wasn't so busy anymore.

You're pretty sure they just subconsciously started treating you differently as soon as you came out the womb, when they saw how much you look like Toya. They're not mean, or abusive, or anything like that, they just... treat you different.
