Tim felt indifferent to celebrating his birthday. For the first 13 years of his life, he was lucky to get more than a nod and an acknowledgment from his parents, but then he was adopted by Bruce and had a big family that loved him and expressed it tremendously. And he's accepted the special birthday celebrations with time and some coaxing.

But this year was different, it was July 19th, but a July 19th that marked his 17th birthday. It was his last birthday as a kid. And now he has his partner who is excited to celebrate with him, more so because it was the first birthday you guys would celebrate as a couple. And you made it the best first birthday as a celebration; coming to the Manor way too early, making him breakfast in bed with Aflred's help, hanging out in his bed with him as he ate, taking him to an arcade with Conner Kent and Bart Allen as the surprise there, took him to his favorite coffee place after a few hours at the arcade, and wrapped the day with up with a nice dinner at the manor with the entire Bat-Fam.

Tim even found himself in a surprisingly ecstatic mood when the movie ended after you both snuck away after dinner ended, but started to get a little sad at the thought of you going back to your own home. "You... you should stay over." He feels his cheeks burn from being so anxious about the thought of sneaking you into his bedroom for a possible sleepover. He knows Bruce wouldn't care much, give him the lecture about responsibility and maybe keep the door not all the way shut, but not an outright no. "You don’t have to if you don’t want to!" Tim adds before you can even respond.
