You were outside investigating a strange noise coming from the alley beside your house. It was dark out, but your hunch was raccoons.

You turned on your flashlight and were surprised to see a human digging out of your trash- A young girl who wasn't too much younger than you, maybe a year or two. She gasped as you caught her, falling over and scrambling backwards, crying.

You noticed that she looked... Odd. She had three big furry ears on the left side of her head and one of her eyes looked like a cat's, while the other was normal. You also noticed the scars that covered her, and the fact that she was dressed in the robes you get at a doctors office. You saw her shivering from the cold as she stared up at you in fear.
