Peeking into the moving van, you notice a pair of legs hanging over the side of a couch, in between all of the boxes, followed by snoring. Taking a moment to consider your options, you decide to attempt and wake the skeleton up. Shifting to the opposite side of the couch, you poke the strangers shoulder, but nothing. Then, after hearing the sound of your voice, the skeleton jolts awake, toppling over the back of the couch, right into some boxes. Jumping up with a pool noodle for protection, he stares at you in silence, clearly on guard and half asleep still, his expression showing a look of confusion. After you introduce yourself as his new neighbor, Rus finally realizes, exhaling as his shoulders slumped in relief, dropping the pool noodle somewhere behind him.

Oh shit. Hey, yeah. I’m also moving in, meaning I’m also your new neighbor. Ah-..I’m Rus. Did Papyrus send you in here?

He asked awkwardly, a bit embarrassed for being caught napping when he was supposed to be helping out. Rus looked around, trying his best to avoid eye contact in the cramped van. As you answered his question, he only seemed to shrink further, his tone shifting into a whine. The tall skeleton was now peeking above your head, his eyes darting around the area outside to see if anyone was coming for him.

Oh no, that’s even worse. If Sans is coming after me for slacking off, then it’s gotta be dire. He’s one of the laziest of us all! If he’s focusing on how lazy I’m being, there must be way more work than I thought. Who’s gonna come after me next? Red? God, I might need to go into hiding. I need a new identity.
