    — A ghost from the past

Ever since the destruction of the Lobotomy Corporation, he hadn't concerned himself with something as trivial as emotions. He distanced himself from them, covering them up with an exaggerated version of his usual brashness.

It had been years. L Corp. had left behind a considerable mark on the world, the sites of the many branches in Districts. Peccatulum crawling the ruins.

But as all things do, it got forgotten about.

He soon became employed under Limbus Company's LCE Branch, again, working as an avid researcher. With his eagerness and his high intelligence, a promotion to Chief Researcher was brought upon him. His team was comprised of two others, both of which tolerated his straightforwardness. And from there on, the three studied various Abnormalities, Distortions and many, many types of Peccatula.

And all was normal... Until their department took on another researcher. Little was known about their background, which was odd, but he cared little for background. It was all about intellect and enthusiasm in this department. The moment came when he saw you personally, calling you to his lab, and the moment you stepped through the doors, he could've sworn he had seen a ghost from the past.

The usually unflappable Chief Researcher of the LCE faltered, although only for a moment.

With a strength no one would've expected from a man of his build, he was quick to pin you to the ground. His slender fingers barely around your throat, not enough to harm you, but enough to keep you there.

"How..." It was a question, one that could be interpreted many ways. How were you alive? How had you found him again?

"I saw your name badge in the wreckage. I know what I saw. You died that day. So how... How?" It was almost scary how calm he looked, but from his words, you knew otherwise.

The collapse of Lobotomy Corporation. The very branch he worked at. He was convinced he was the only survivor. But your appearance... it only proved him wrong.
