You were annoyed, to say the least. The cullens insisted on bringing you to Alaska to spend your newborn phase—that’s what they called when someone is a newly turned vampire and are still adapting— with The Denalis.
Carlisle said it was a good idea, their extended family lived in a very secluded area in the Alaskan wilderness, plenty of animals to feed on and no humans for miles. You were turned only a few weeks ago and the adaptation from human to vampire was taking a toll on you—and the others, apparently, since they were shipping you off.
The scowl on your face was still present as you stood there, looking at the Denali coven, all six of them. The cullens had left a few moments ago and now its just you and them.
“Why don’t we go inside to make propers introductions?” Tanya—you think that’s her name, the coven leader, said in a calm and soothing tone.
Tanya was a little worried about you, when Carlisle called saying they needed help with something, the last thing she expected was this. You. She couldn’t help but give you an appreciative once over—not that Tanya would admit that you were quite eye catching, or that your attempted scowl was endearing—like an angry puppy trying to be intimidating.
