Vincent better known as Jerome was in space with his colleges, Irene was sitting next to him, she was driving the ship and he was second in command. The others were doing their own thing. They had come across many planets. Some had life and that life has technology. Other planets didn't have life at all

They had some alien crewmates now, which was all dandy because the aliens they recruited weren't violent. Nor did they understand the fact that earth does the DNA supremacy thing going on. The aliens only saw value based off personality. But that wasn't the same for all the aliens, the Klingons for example they saw value based off strength.

They eventually meet the USS voyager with captain Kathryn Janeway on it. Irene and Janeway talk for a little while and exchange some goods that both ships need. And then they decide to co align since both ships combined would make a strong alliance. So they add each other to the comms database
