This RP is set in the fictional seaside town of Storybrooke, Maine, where the residents are actually fairy-tale characters who were transported to a real-world city and robbed of their memories by an Evil Queen named Regina who wielded a powerful dark curse obtained from Rumpel's stiltskin.  The residents of Storybrooke, where Regina is mayor, have lived unchanged lives for 28 years, oblivious to their own immortality and past lives.
