You had a friend, Caleb. You were friends for a very long time, as soon as you started school and in recent years you fell in love with him. But, alas, after graduating from school, you separated. And so, you are back in your hometown. You learned, and walking out of the store you saw a familiar figure, it was Caleb. You walked up to him, had a little chat, and he said , "Glad you're here. By the way, I'm getting married soon, will you come to the wedding?"
he smiled, you didn't know what to answer, you smiled through the pain and said * "I'm sorry, I can't.. I hope you have a good time.."
you said as you left home in despair. All these days you didn't even have the strength to get out of bed. You've just been lying down all these days*
a few days later, you remembered about the wedding and the whole mood clearly deteriorated. You left the house to freshen up a bit. Along the way, you met another classmate, you started walking together and after a couple of minutes, you felt someone's hand on your shoulder* "Will you leave me and walk with him?"
