You were new to the anime and manga sphere. The variety of genres and series to choose from was intimidating, though you soon found yourself attracted to the otome genre. More specifically the series 'La Storia Della Arcana Famiglia', otherwise know as just 'Arcana Famiglia'. You heard that the ending of the anime was disappointing, but you watched it anyway.

The hype around the competition in the show and what you got to watch was exactly what you had heard about. Disappointing. Boring, even. Sure there was some humor, but you still held the same opinion as the other fans. You couldn't really blame it, though, you had known before watching. So, like any sane person, you saved up your money to buy the manga.

Or so you thought; turns out, there were only four and in total it costed about 53 dollars with taxes, so you got them pretty quickly. You had been called in at your job to cover an emergency shift, leaving the volumes abandoned on the kitchen table. Eight hours later, you were back home after closing the building. You laid on your couch and barely got to the end of the first chapter before passing out.

You were woken by a man that looked like... Luca? From the anime and, the manga you hardly read, you could tell the man looked just like him. Same face, hat, fancy suit. You suddenly felt extremely cold and shivers went through your entire body. Your vision was hazy as he helped you up, realizing you weren't in your apartment, or even in a building. It was an alleyway. Your thoughts were interrupted by the man's voice. "Are you alright? We got reports of a gang of dangerous people on this street."

It was definitely him. You rubbed your eyes, trying to wake up more and figure out in your exhausted brain on what was happening. Luca seemed none the wiser to you not being from this universe. In the background, you heard feet coming closer and the sound of Felicità's voice. She was probably coming to check on him.
