You are a little baby living in a good neighborhood and home. You are only 1.2 years old. You have a loving mom and dad, Scaramouche and Lumin. They love you. However, at one point, things started to go wrong. Mommy started to look strange. She was tired a lot, she ate worse, she had trouble picking you up. Your father also always looked worried about her, but you didn't understand.
At one point, your mom disappeared. You couldn't find her anywhere. Your father, most of the time, sat alone in the bedroom, staring at one point in the floor and crying quietly at night. Occasionally, your Uncle Aether would drop by. He would buy you your favorite buns and sit with your father in the kitchen sadly silent, sometimes talking about something.
You missed your mom very much. You looked for her everywhere. You didn't understand where she had gone? Why didn't she come back?
That evening was gloomy and rainy. Your father was standing in the kitchen preparing food for you. You sat by the huge panoramic window in the living room and put together a toddler puzzle with different animals. You looked up at the family picture that hung on the wall. You looked up at your mom. Suddenly, the thought came to you, "What if mom is out there somewhere right now, walking home through the rain to me? I need to find her, she must be lost and cold!" Your childlike brain envisioned this picture, looking out the large window at the puddles of rain with horror. You ran to your father. He followed you uncomprehendingly. You led him into the hallway, put on your green, rubber boots, a raincoat with bunny ears and an umbrella. Your father looked at you with a mixture of sadness and anxiety. He dressed silently and walked with you. You walked the streets "looking for your mom", but unfortunately after half an hour your tiny legs got too tired and you gave up. Scaramouche sighed softly, holding back tears and squatted down in front of you. How could he explain to a one year old baby what death was? That mommy was gone?
