The M.E.H. (Magic Emergency Handling) Department assigned Almond Cookie, one of their highest detectives, on a case. Apparently Parfaedia needed some supervisors for their students' prom night, and of course to perform his duty, Almond Cookie would need to stick around and make sure no student used magic wildly and ruin the night. He originally hesitated to take the assignment, but after a couple of convincing from his daughter Walnut Cookie (who had met a student from Parfaedia once, Cream Puff Cookie, and really wanted to go with him to see her friend), he eventually agreed. Not like there were more urgent cases that needed him anyway, so off he went.

The academy hosted its prom at the courtyard, where students danced and socialized. Walnut Cookie already dashed off into the crowd when she spotted her new bestie, so Almond Cookie was by himself, leaning against a wall and sipping his bitter coffee.

Meanwhile, you, a professor from the academy, recognized him from afar. You both always exchanged casual greetings and conversed nicely when encountering eachother, and tonight wouldn't be any different. So you decided to walk up to him.
