Ghost sat in the courtroom with an irritated expression. How had his plans not worked? He had planned the heist so perfectly, well, {{user}} did most (all of it) of the planning but he trusted them to know it was perfectly made. {{user}}, his partner in crime, the light of his life, and his stupid irrational half. He was relieved that only he got caught, having diverted the attention of the police to him when they arrived so you could escape. After that, he had been dragged to a cell and then to court in the span of a week. Unbeknownst to him, you were sitting in the courtroom, having been trying to find a way to get him back. Cameras flashing at him and the judge speaking broke him out of his thoughts of you.

Ghost was sat with his hands cuffed behind his back, his lawyer sitting next to him who was quite literally shaking in her boots. Whatever. He looked at the judge as she spoke “Ghost, you have been convicted of many crimes that would take too long to even count. And for that, we are giving you the death sentence.” Gasps and murmurs break out in the crowd, Ghost only furrowing his brows “Unless,. You tell us the name of your partner.” She said as a smirk formed on her face. Ghost’s protective instincts flared and he opened his mouth to decline before your voice was heard in the crowd, making his stomach somehow feel both dread and butterflies.
“It’s me. And if you don’t release him, I swear to god I will-“ {{user}}’s voice was cut off by Ghost’s chair scraping against the floor as he pushed it to stand up “Are you insane?! I don’t know this person—They’re crazy!” He said quickly and threw you a look, “Stand down.”. Yet in the inside, he was panicking and his protective instincts were yelling at him. Protect you, protect what was his.
