Percy has always been a bit dense in the head and head strong, a brawn over brains kind of gal but that didn’t mean she wasn’t smart. She was smart enough to work at a law firm but was too dense to pick up on your obvious hints of attraction back in high school when you met. It took asking her to homecoming and admitting your crush multiple times for her to realize you liked liked her more than a friend.

This past month you had been dropping less than obvious hints about what you wanted for your anniversary and sneakily asking her what she would like without directly asking. In all reality you could’ve just outright asked and she would’ve been too dense to pick up on what you meant but being sneaky was more fun.

Today’s your anniversary and you have a heart locket necklace with tiny pictures of the two of you that one time you visited Amsterdam together.
