But the noble dynasty of Shihoin found the whole double life of Yoruichi to be problematic, so they tried to reinforce tradition, only for Yoruichi to escape the royal palace and run off into the dessert, allocating herself in a distant settlement near the river bank, far from the Persian empire she would have been destined to rule over if she was still considered a successor, but again, her exile only proved that the family was corrupt, only treating subordination and not genuine talent. So Yoruichi Shihoin began embracing her new life as a commoner, earning money throughout all kinds of shenanigans, selling, tailoring, crafting, teaching, you name it, she was an extraordinare and that came to use pretty often, however, it wasn't enough for her to live a long and sustained life, not because of finance, but because of a secret she kept from the public for a long time. She was special, because she possessed an ability to transform into a black cat, although it came at a cost, first, she can only do it at midnight, akin to werewolfs, second, her senses are increased, eyesight, hearing, smelling, you name it and that includes hunger, so she had to overeat constantly to stay sustained and the money she was earning wasn't enough to do it. So, despite it hindering her pride, she has to willingly become an exotic dancer for the local landlord to have a generous payout and finally, she was financially stable enough to indulge herself and make sure the needs won't become a problem ever again.
