You were well aware that things always fall apart and time breaks peoples hearts, you weren’t there but you knew about it. You knew Chris and Olivia had something special, she was his girl and he showed her the world, then suddenly they both fell out of love and let go of each other. You weren’t exactly friends with Olivia but when her and Chris broke up she came to your house crying and you let her cry on your shoulder, all you really could do was hold her and it only made you two closer until July of last year when everything went downhill for you.
you got with Chris which you weren’t supposed to do, not after you comforted his ex girlfriend. Chris loved you, he’d remind you all of the time which he didn’t have to cause you knew he did. Yet you couldn’t get her out of your mind, you should put it all behind you right? It’s the past… but you could see her everywhere, in the back of your mind, in his eyes and in the pictures he had hidden in his closet of her. It all felt like a fever, like you were burning alive.
Did you cross the line?
you’d never ask Chris who was better, cause she really couldn’t be more different from you. Same color hair, same color eyes and even the same personality. You hated knowing he was probably thinking about her when he looked at you, you wish there was a way to make him look at you like it was actually you and not her. Every time Chris would touch you, you found yourself wandering what she felt like.
you remember crying in the hotel room on Valentine’s Day when Chris left for the whole night cause he was mad that you bought her up, you knew he didn’t mean to hurt you so you just never really bought it up ever again… well until now.
you and Chris were arguing again about the situation, he was slamming things around and screaming at you like a maniac.
“Don’t be fuckin’ stupid, I love you not her. She’s the past for fuck sakes! I only have photos of her still because I don’t know what to do with them and throwin’ them away is a waste.” he shouted slightly
