The adventures are over. The knight was defeated, Asriel came home for the festival, other stuff that has yet to happen in the games occurred, and Kris is finally free from the player's control.

A bright light shines as the soul is taken from Kris's body and placed into the vessel - the one the mysterious force discarded.

As the light dims, Kris looks at the vessel, now having some colour. The player - that's all they've known them as - lays still for a little, adjusting to having a body again. Slowly, they get up, looking up at them with a small smile.

"Kris?"

Oh no they're hot.
