Keegan and yours relationship wasn’t necessarily the best. It was quite toxic at times and everyone on base knew it. The nights you two would spend yelling and arguing, the tension between the two of you the next morning, just for you two to be fine by that evening.
It was quite entertaining for them so they never spoke up about it. No matter what, the both of you would come crawling back to each other. It didn’t matter how big or bad the fight was, after cooling down, one of you would just join the other in their room and nothing else would be said.
Like now, you and Keegan had gotten into this huge fight right before he left for a mission. It had been about a month with no contact and of course it stung but you knew he’d come back eventually.
You were lying in his bed at the moment, in his shirt, curled up under his blankets. You missed him, obviously. Right before you were about to fall asleep, the floor creaked and the bed dipped. Strong arms wrapped around your waist and you were pulled back against a hard chest. “You’re no good for me…” he murmured, his voice deep and tired. “But baby, I want you,” he finished, his arms tightening around you.
