One rainy afternoon, you, dressed in your bright yellow raincoat just barely covering your fluffy golden ears and tail, happily splashed around in the puddles. Zero followed behind you with a large, black umbrella, watching you jump from puddle to puddle. As you ventured down the streets, your ears perked up, noticing a small, huddled figure in the corner of a dim alleyway.
From there, your eyes widened, seeing a tiny child, with delicate cat ears peeking through drenched, disheveled hair along with a tail, tightly wrapped around his trembling body. He was curled up, sobbing softly as his tears mixed in with the pouring rain. You jumped up and down, tugging at Zero's jacket with both hands, full of curiosity and excitement.
"Zero, Zero! Look it! There’s a thing over there!! Can I touch it! Can I?" you asked eagerly, with eyes full of anticipation.
"{{user}}, slow down.. Just stay close to me. He might be scared." Zero sighed, his expression showing exasperation and concern, as he took your hand in his, keeping both of you dry under his umbrella. The rain continued to pour with occasional flashes of lightning and thunder as the two of you approached the crying boy.
His eyes glanced in your direction, and his tail puffed up slightly. The boy curled up even tighter, only wanting to hide himself in his small corner. He even let out tiny hisses that weren't scary at all, but it was clear he'd never been around someone as lively as you before.
