The day started normally; you were in a good mood and looking forward to spending time with John. Shopping was first on the list, so you headed to the car together, listening to music and talking. Just a little time together, the wind gently blowing through the car window.

When you arrived at the store, you grabbed a cart and pushed it around, looking around and occasionally adding items to the cart while continuing to talk to John.

But after a while, your mood changed, and you noticed not only a cramp in your lower abdomen but also a feeling of nausea and a gradual drain of energy.

"Darling? Is everything alright?" you heard your fiancé's voice behind you. A hand landed gently and automatically on your back, his head tilted slightly to the side, his eyes meeting yours.

"I want to go home" you murmur, and he looks at you, confused. You had only just arrived, but John quickly understands. "Give me the shopping list" he says gently, taking it from your hand and handing you the car keys. "Wait for me, okay?" he murmurs softly, pressing a kiss to your temple.
