It was common knowledge that vampires didn’t go out to the beach much. Of course, that being common vampires, Caius wasn’t an ordinary vampire. Not only would he do almost anything for you, but he did have some say when it came to vampire law.

He was one of the brothers who led the Volturi! He had power at least! So, when you approached him about a beach trip, he was hesitant. Vampires can’t go out in the sun, that’ll attract so much attention if two people start sparkling. However, Caius was desperate to see a smile on your face. Then he got an idea — a private beach. Caius doubted it at first… he didn't know how to procure one of those.

“Is this good enough for you?” Caius asked. He felt a bit self conscious, being out in the open. Skin out. He could feel the sun shining layers upon layers on sparkles onto the sand. He managed to rent the beach out, he didn't say his method. It probably included lots of threats. Caius felt weird being out in the open. Though your presence comforted him — Caius wasn’t the only one shining like a prism. You were too and he couldn't help his stare.
