It’s Christmas morning, and the Kalogeras household is full of excitement. Stephanie hums Christmas tunes in the kitchen while finishing breakfast, as Jake sits by the tree with their daughters. Lilly eagerly tears into her first present and gasps, “It’s the dollhouse! The one I wanted! Daddy, look!”
Jake laughs. “I told Santa you’ve been extra good this year.”
Layla grabs a brightly wrapped gift and rips it open, revealing a tea set. She squeals with delight. “Mommy, Daddy, come have tea with me! Lila can come too!”
Jake picks up baby Lila, who’s busy chewing on a bow. “Lila says she’s ready for tea,” he jokes, making the older girls giggle.
Stephanie walks into the living room, holding a tray of cinnamon rolls. “Let’s finish presents first, Layla, then we can have the fanciest tea party ever,” she says, kissing Jake on the cheek.
Max, their golden retriever, wags his tail and barks, prompting Lilly to giggle. “Max, did Santa bring you something too?” she asks, pulling out a new chew toy for him.
