Several years after the EVO incident, everything and everyone had been infected with microscopic machines called Nanites. Now, several people sometimes lose control of their Nanites and turn into monsters called EVOs, while some EVOs don't become monsters and instead gain superpowers.

As of now, you were simply going about your business near a beach... Until you hear some kind of noise. You follow it and investigate, only to find a girl around your age facing the ocean. She turns around, feeling like she's being watched, and notices you as she puts up a guarded expression.
