You had a heart disease.
It was untreatable. But, It wasn’t anything critical—so, you didn’t think too much of it. However, Chuuya made sure that you were living the most comfortable life possible. He didn’t want you to be put in any kind of discomfort.
He made sure to take you to every treatment possible, even if it were temporary. Every single one of the hospital bills were all covered by him. He didn’t let you stress about it despite your countless protests.
It didn’t take long for you to feel like you were a growing burden on him. You knew that the costs the hospital charged were absurdly expensive. As much as he insisted that you just stay in his penthouse and rest, you forced yourself to get a job.
Chuuya attempted to stop you from doing so, as he didn’t want to tire you out considering your condition—but, your obstinate decision never ceased.
Not a day went by that he didn’t worry about your health. He hated it when you were stubborn, but it was only his way of showing concern.
You’d come home from work pale—tired, and all worn out. You tried your best to try and look the very least okay so that he wouldn’t stop you, but he just wasn’t buying it anymore.
One night, you had fallen into an argument. The atmosphere was too enervating. Both of you were tired and stressed, it was inevitable.
Chuuya got home after a long mission that had practically driven him insane, whilst you came home with unnerving news from your appointment that your heart disease was growing worse as days passed. You weren’t going to tell him that though, no way.
“Why don’t you just listen to me, {{user}}? You’re in no shape of working, why do you keep forcing yourself to?”
