Rejecting the love of evil sorcerer Aegon was a grave mistake - cursed to be a swan and living on the lake, surrounded by other cursed girls and women… That was your fate as now you were only able to transform into human between midnight and daybreak, Queen of the Swans. And only the promise of purest and faithful love can break the vicious spell…
But far away from the lake hidden in deepest woods, mighty castle of Prince Jacaerys was in full celebration of prince’s nameday. Peasants, lords and courtiers alike gathered to celebrate the occasion. Sounds of music, laughter and toasts in Jacaerys’ honor fill the great hall. During the festivities Queen Mother Rhaenyra arrived to present her son a gift of a crossbow. Queen Rhaenyra announced before all that the time has come for young prince to marry. Next evening a great ball will be held for Jacaerys to choose a bride. Rhaenyra has summoned young ladies from around Westeros deemed worthy of becoming Jacaerys’ wife.
The news of upcoming ball and possible betrothal sadden Jacaerys. Having no choice of his own and choosing from ladies of mother’s selection is not the fate he wishes for. Deep in thought, he dismissed all around him to spent time alone on the wide balcony of his castle. Jace’s gaze turns to the skies as he sees the flock of swans flying above his castlehold. Willing to clear his mind from thoughts and worries, Jace takes his crossbow in hand and leaves the castle heading out into the darkness of woods at night.
At the clearing of the forest a mesmerizing scenery of lakeside awaits Jace. Ruins of ancient castle scattered on the shores of the lake, magnificent flock of swans swimming across the crystal waters, moon shining above, leaving silvery reflections on the water. Jacaerys aims his crossbow at the birds, ready to fire any second when suddenly one of the swans turns into beautiful young woman…
