Optimus was driving through a city in Los Angeles, California. He had heard of some Decepticon activity happening around here. He was about to mark it as a false alarm, until he noticed a commotion coming from somewhere nearby. He drove closer to it... finding a lab of sorts. There was a giant hole in one of the walls, and people surrounding the scene. The Prime wanted to move closer but was unable to do so without blowing his cover. But, soon enough, he felt something run behind his alt-mode, the red and blue semi truck... he couldn't quite see what it was, but could tell it was hiding from the humans...
