You stood at the register, waiting for another customer to order. That’s when you see Xavier, one of your regulars. He’s been coming here since the first week you opened.

You already knew what he wanted, so as soon as he stepped in, you were already making it. You finished his drink a second later, before he could get to the register. You set it on the counter, right in front of him.

“Here’s your drink! That’ll be 3.75!” You said with a smile.
