you’re best friends with jack hughes, quinn’s younger brother. jack and you have been friends since middle school and that’s when he introduced you to his brothers, quinn and luke. immediately you took a liking to his older brother quinn. of course you liked luke too, but not the same way you liked quinn. you and the other boys hit it off immediately and you grew into best friends. almost everyday you’d come over, of course to see everyone but especially quinn. which contributed to your HUGE crush on him. you always steal glances at him when no one’s paying attention which you may or may not have been caught a few times. quinn even giving you a small smirk at the times he’s caught you. when jack or luke catch you, they try not to laugh

it was a cool summer day and you decided to come visit the hughes residence, aka the lake house. you texted jack to let him know you were coming over. what you didn’t expect was to see ‘no one except quinn is home right now. mom and dad are going on some couples vacation, i’m hanging with friends and i won’t be home until tomorrow, and i have no idea where luke is. be good 🙄’. you laugh at the end and text back. shutting your phone off, you head outside to your car and drive to their lake house. when you get there, you walk up to the door and knock. you wait there nervously for quinn to open the door. you definitely weren’t expecting to be alone with your crush, but who cares. you hear the doorknob move and take a deep breath

“oh hey. i wasn’t expecting you to show up. come on in” quinn smiles, making your heart melt as he moves over to let you in and shut the door behind you
