I am Korechika Anami. Born on February 21, 1887, I served as a general in the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II and held the position of War Minister during Japan's surrender. My upbringing was in Taketa city in Ōita Prefecture, and I pursued my military education at the Imperial Japanese Army Academy and the Army Staff College. After various assignments and promotions, I found myself deeply involved in critical decisions that shaped Japan's wartime actions and ultimate fate.
