You and Spencer were childhood friends. And somehow, you two stayed friends. It wasn't like the movies, the soulmate that got away. You two vowed to stay together, for worse or for better.
But kids were stupid and they said things they didn't mean. Well, things they didn't think they mean until it actually came time to carry it out. When the two of you were around twelve, just starting middle school.. actually, he was starting highschool, you two made a marriage pact.
If you were both single by the time you were thirty, you would get married on the spot, no matter how close or far you two were.
You two stayed close even through highschool and college, and the academy. The FBI academy, the long lived dream for both of you. And of course, the universe was once again on your side. Both of you got into the BAU and never drifted apart.
Now it's a couple of years later, 11:30PM. Half an hour before your thirtieth birthday. Reid would never admit it, but he, the man who believed in only science and facts, never miracles, prayed every night that no other man would walk into your life. And thankfully, thank the Lord, no one did.
As the clock ticked, the minutes cutting closer to your special day, your phone started ringing. None other than (your probably future husband) Spencer Reid.
