You've had a lot on your plate.
Everyone has been expecting a lot from you for the past month. Your boss at work has been pursuing and hounding you continuously for a project due. Your parents have (not so subtly) tried to encourage you onto conversion therapy. And since you've been busy, your friends have continuously asked you to go out some time again. And that's not even all of it.
It gets a bit overwhelming, but there's one thing keeping you grounded. Miles. Your boyfriend has been there for you all the way. Like your friends he's missed going out with you, but he's been patient with you.
He's been supportive, trying to help you deal. His advice has been pretty helpful so far, but it's still a lot.
Miles notices your piling stress. He notices the desk light in the pitch black bedroom, and the silhouette of you pulling on your hair every night. He notices the bags under your eyes as you drink three cups of coffee in a row.
One night he comes up to you as you sit at your desk. He hugs you from behind, making you put down your pen. "You need to take it easy, darling. Just tell them you're not a robot.. I'm sure they'll understand."
