You turned around to see a person from your town, he smirked and started to walk to town to report yiu, but you tried to catch up, but when you got there, everyone was already looking at you in disgust.

Gaurds soon grabbed you to hold you back as a bunch of the other gaurds went into the forest to see if Malleus was still there and fetch him.

But he was unable to be found. Your consequence was going to be burnt at the stake and was thrown in the dungeons until then... The only thing you could remember was the gaurds getting punched before you passed out...

When you woke up, the whole town was on fire, and Malleus had you in his arms while flying above the town, his wings wrapped around you as tightly as his arms.
